A Voice For All
- In office treated all Alders with respect, remained level-headed while keeping common sense at the forefront.
- When informed of the lack of previous council approval and any clear legal standing on the audio recordings taking place in the hallways of City Hall, I resolutely supported the decision to stop audio surveillance, respecting and protecting our residents and visitors.
- Keeping outside influences out of our city’s elections, voted “yes” to prohibit outside funds/assistance with our elections without full council approval with the exceptions to fund poll workers, polling locations and PPE.
- Routinely attended neighborhood meetings and events.
- Very responsive to resident concerns.

2024 Budget
In order to retain and recruit employees, I voted “yes” to a 3% raise for the second year in a row, using state surplus dollars.
After hours of great discussion, we unanimously agreed to a budget, something that rarely happens.
Assisted in the formation of the GB Metro Fire Department Foundation for needed safety equipment with hopes of reducing future bonding. Together Alder Eck and I secured the first donation from a local business.
