Protect Wisconsin’s Farmlands and Timberlands from being sold to Adversary Nation’s and their surrogates!
Duane supports AB269 which would have banned communist China (or other adversary nations) from buying our farm and timberlands. The Assembly leadership has failed to move this bill forward for a vote.

Wisconsin needs to pass a “Constitutional Carry.” The Second Amendment was never meant to be something that required a permit in order to be covered by it. Duane is a staunch defender of our 2nd Amendment.

This is a bill that was lobbied hard to pass by the utility company lobby for our state. It would give the right of first refusal on new power generations to only existing companies.
Repeal the Wedding Barn Ban Bill
Kevin Petersen and Robin Vos supported this bill heavily lobbied for by the Tavern League of Wisconsin.

- Our state needs to do everything we can as a state to add our voice to secure the nation’s border against illegal immigration
- We need legislation in Wisconsin to make it more difficult for illegal immigrants to obtain Wisconsin Driver’s licenses.
- Restore Honest Elections!
- The RINO-led legislature, combined with the Democrats to stop AR18, the articles of impeachment filed against Meagan Wolfe, from having a vote on the floor of the assembly (AR18). Meagan Wolfe has repeatedly been found by courts to have failed to follow Wisconsin Election law (such as her action to set up the drop boxes in the 2020 election). Duane’s opponent, Kevin Petersen opposed AR18.
- We oppose the Monday Count Bill (AB567), which passed the Assembly, but the Senate failed to vote on it (so it hasn’t fortunately become law). Kevin Petersen and Robin Vos are strong supporters of this bill. It is important to do all the counting on election day, to insure full security with poll watchers for all of the counting.
- We do need to ban the use of voting machines that have an internet capability in Wisconsin to avoid the ability of hackers to impact counts. Also any voting machine uses should have paper backup to them.

- Kevin Petersen voted for abortion, up to 14 weeks, and worked to pass it, AB975, despite opposition from all pro-life groups in Wisconsin.
- No Boys in Girls Sports
- Wisconsin needs legislation that matches 23 other states that have banned biological males from playing in females sports. Duane believes this is a violation of Title IX. The Republican Assembly and Senate both passed this bill in 2023, but Democratic Governor Tony Evers vetoed it. We need to elect a veto-proof majority of conservatives in 2024 to be able to override a veto. There is a reason that historically our nation has not allowed biological males to enter girls sports. The LGBT movement and liberal democrats are wrong to push this practice.
- Duane also supports legislation that would prevent schools from “transitioning” minors as transgender without full written parental permission from all custodial parents.
- Duane also supports a “Parents’ Bill of Rights” for public education, which would insure parent access to curriculum information, and that parents would have input into curriculum, as well as school library materials. Parents would also be notified, given the opportunity to opt in or out of controversial mental health screenings, or medical screenings.

Duane supports AB269 which would have banned communist China (or other adversary nations) from buying our farm and timberlands. - Duane opposes AB 470, known as the Right of First Refusal Bill”(aka ROFR). This is a bill that was lobbied hard to pass by the utility company lobby for our state. It would give the right of first refusal on new power generations to only existing companies. Consumer organizations say that this would lead to higher electrical prices for all consumers in Wisconsin, and possibly have a negative impact on employment in industries that depend on large use of electricity such as Waupaca Foundry. Duane’s opponent, Kevin Petersen, was a primary sponsor of this bill, which passed the Assembly, but fortunately has not passed the Senate at this time.
- Repeal the Wedding Barn Ban Bill (AB304). Kevin Petersen and Robin Vos supported this bill heavily lobbied for by the Tavern League of Wisconsin. This law limits any Wedding Barn owner from renting out their venue more than six times per calendar year which will put many out of business we believe. The RINO Republicans combined with the Democrats in this “bi-partisan” bill to pass it into law last November. Tony Evers then signed the bill into law. It goes into effect Jan. 2026.
